Surprisingly Good

Corsair Flash Voyager – 4 GB

I thought that the SanDisk Extreme Ducati Edition is the clear winner of all the flash drives, but unexpectedly the Corsair Flash Voyageur was able to beat the earlier easily with its top notch performance. The performance scores revealed that this drive has the fastest real world and synthetic read scores in its category. The flash drive is superbly built using rubber, thus making it resistant to shock and water. But wait, the drive has some disadvantages – there is no cap retention, so you can lose the cap easily and the rubber body attracts dirt and lint quickly. It can be used vastly for storing media, and you can fill the entire drive in just 8 minutes. A USB extension and a neck strap cable are bundled. Data encryption software comes pre-loaded. Priced at a mere Rs. 975, the cost works around to about Rs. 250 per GB. The drive also carries a staggering 10 ear lifetime warranty.

Specs:
Capacity: 4GB; Dimenions(WxHxD): 24x75x12 mm; Weight: 15 g; USB: 2.0 Hi-Speed

Verdict: Great quick storage and transfers between PCs – this drive is quite cheap and rugged for its performance.

For: Fast Transfers, 10 year warranty.

Against: Tough keeping it clean.
