Find previously visited website

While looking up something o n the Internet, you’ve explored several websites, only to bfind out at the end that you haven’t saved the addresses of the most interesting ones. Do you need to restart the search from scratch?

You don’t really need to restart your search from scratch. At least not if your browser is Opera. It offers you the option of searching for previously visited websites based on the keywords. If you recall a rather unusual term that you’ve read on the website, you can then find your way back to the homepage rather quickly.

The English beta version of Opera 9.5 can be downloaded from the manufacturer’s website http://fileforum.betanews.com/detail/Opera_for_Windows/945720329/1/ for free. To start the search function, type ‘opera:historysearch’ in the browser’s address bar and press enter. The new internal page lists – in a manner similar to Google Search – all websites previously visited. Enter your search term in the input field on the page and click on the ‘History Search’ button. You can thus find the desired site in a flash.

As with every website, you can also bookmark the found, internal pages and integrate it as a link on your personal toolbar. If you delete your browsing history and personal data, you will also lose the data required for the ‘History Search’.
